incoloy 825 pipe
incoloy 825 pipe
Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825) is a high-performance nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing molybdenum, copper and titanium. This material is highly valued for its exceptional corrosion resistance, particularly against sulfuric and phosphoric acids, and effectively resists pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride stress corrosion cracking.
It is applied in chemical processing, oil and gas, nuclear power, and pollution control sectors, such as pipelines, storage tanks, and heat exchangers, maintaining good mechanical strength across a range from low to moderate temperatures.

Key Features and Composition

Nickel-iron-chromium-based
Provides general corrosion resistance and stability.

Molybdenum and Copper
Enhance resistance to reducing acids and pitting/crevice corrosion.

Chromium
Resistant to oxidation conditions (nitric acid).

Titanium
Stabilizes the alloy to prevent intergranular corrosion after welding.

Non-magnetic
Low magnetic permeability.

Approximately 196 GPa (28.4 × 106 psi).
Melting Point Range:
1370°C – 1400°C (2500°F – 2550°F).
Density:
8.14 g/cm³ (0.294 lb/in³).
Impact Strength:
Exhibits excellent impact toughness at both room temperature and cryogenic temperatures.
As temperature increases, tensile strength and yield strength decrease. Prolonged use in environments exceeding 540°C (1000°F) may cause precipitation of brittle phases within the alloy, leading to significant reductions in ductility and impact toughness.
Standard Specifications:
Specific values may vary slightly depending on product form (e.g., seamless pipe, plate, round bar) and manufacturing standards (e.g., ASTM B163 heat exchanger tubes, ASTM B423 seamless pipe).
Work Hardening:
This alloy can be work hardened; hardness and strength increase significantly with the amount of cold deformation applied.

Our Capability
Our business encompasses the production and sale of seamless steel pipes, welded steel pipes, and pipe fittings,as well as the research and development of high-tech products.
We operate 20 seamless steel pipe production lines,20 high-speed steel rolling production lines,3 perforating production lines, and 5 welded steel pipe production lines, with an annual production capacity of 35,000 tons of austenitic and austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel pipes.
